“Grandma” Mary Duggar died of an accidental drowning in a swimming pool, Washington County Coroner confirmed to USA TODAY

The Duggar family is buzzing over the gender of their incoming addition.

Anna Duggar and husband Josh Duggar, the eldest of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 19 kids, announced what the sex of baby No. 6 is “gonna bee” with a golden beehive.

“This is the 6th gender reveal for our little family and it always so exciting!” Anna captioned an Instagram video of one of her sons pouring water into the beehive, which exploded with pink foam.

“Each child God has given us is unique and special — we all look forward to the arrival of our daughter / sister this fall!” she added.

Anna also used the reveal to pay tribute to her late “Grandma” Mary Duggar, who died of an accidental drowning last week at age 78.

Anna credited Mary with popularizing the gender reveal craze a decade ago after the matriarch offered to make a cake during Anna’s first pregnancy, with daughter Mackynzie, 9.

The couple also share sons Michael, 8, Marcus, 6, Mason, 1, and daughter Meredith, 3.

“When I was expecting Kynzie, Grandma Duggar excitedly told me of a ‘new trend’ that featured baking a gender reveal cake,” she said, adding that they cut into the cake on the “Today” show. “Grandma was the one who sparked this special tradition for our family and it sounds like a lot of other families have enjoyed the idea over the years as well!”

She continued: “With Grandma’s passing last week, this 6th gender reveal is a reminder of her love — I’m so glad we were able to share the news of our third little girl with Great-Grandma before she went to be with Jesus!”

The announcement comes days after the Duggars held a memorial service for Mary.

“The service was lovely and very honoring to my Grandma and the one she loved more than anyone or anything else, Jesus Christ!” Jill Duggar Dillard wrote on Instagram earlier this week. “So many family members and friends came together and organized, supported and remembered the amazing woman she was!”
