Josh Hart made the go-ahead basket with 2.8 seconds left after a chaotic possession, and the New York Knicks beat the Detroit Pistons 113-111 on Monday night.

Jalen Brunson had 35 points and 12 assists for the Knicks, and it was his missed 3-point attempt with 20 seconds remaining that started the wild back-and-forth that led to Hart’s basket.

The Pistons chased down the rebound but threw it away, then appeared to recover when Ausur Thompson stole a pass by Donte DiVincenzo.

CHICAGO – The Boston Celtics enjoyed their break and were ready to get back to work. The NBA leaders got the job done in another convincing win.

Derrick White scored 28 points, Jayson Tatum added 25 and the Celtics won their season-high seventh straight game, beating the Chicago Bulls 129-112 on Thursday night.

White and Tatum each made five of Boston’s 23 3-pointers. Jaylen Brown scored 21 points, and the Celtics came away with another convincing victory after pounding Brooklyn by 50 prior to the All-Star break.

Hydeia Broadbent, known for raising awareness to lessen the stigma around HIV/AIDS from a young age, has died at 39 years old. She was one of the faces of children with AIDS in America, especially within the African American community.

Ewen MacIntosh, star of the British version of ‘The Office,’ dies at 50

MacIntosh was best known for playing the hilarious role of Keith in the series from 2001 to 2003.

British actor and comedian Ewen MacIntosh, whose role as deadpan accountant Keith in the U.K. version of “The Office” made him a fan favorite, has died, his management said.

He was 50 years old.
