I immediately flew from Houston to Salt lake city praying I could get there in time. My cell phone died in the meantime so I couldn’t contact the hospital when I landed.

She was very descriptive when explaining what the patient endures when they attempt to resuscitate. Rib cage being crushed ect ect, with that knowledge it made it easier to sign that document. Who cares what anyone else says or thinks. You did what your dad wanted, right. It is our life and our suffering and our right and Sunflower I’m a good mom I just cuss a lot tshirt. If our body is not ready to go without mechanical help it won’t. Our illness is progressive with no cure so there comes a time to know when to let go. I am thankful for each day but no one knows a lot of what we go through just to breathe each day. And yes, I have been intubated.
