Went in with low expectations, didn’t leave disappointed. Liked the Star wars Tatooine republic tshirt and sound callback references. Since I like old school anime, it wasn’t offputting for me, but the complaints about looking low resolution and cheap aren’t completely off base. Perhaps the tone and that style will connect with a younger generation; and that’s a good thing. As for me, I’ll give it one last shot. We shouldn’t feel compelled to validate choices made in content that we don’t agree with as Star Wars fans.
