We like to pronounce these as the ‘Belly Birds’, The smaller bird is similar to the bird on the old Irish penny, it likes to accompany the big bird! An Original design adapted by Lisa Van Eyck, in the style of the illuminated Irish gospel the Book of Kells. The design is similar to the bird on the old Irish penny, which was used before the euro came in 2001. We called this design the ‘Belle Bird’ which we like to pronounce as ‘belly bird’! It seems like a great t-shirt. The print and color are fantastic. The sizing by this brand seems to run a little smaller than suggested. For at least two different shirts we received from them our ‘correct size’ according to their size chart was a little too snug. The next size up was a perfect fit (we have a 4x and a 5x person in the house).

These are just right for layering under sweaters, sweatshirts , or long-sleeved shirts in cold weather. They are the right weight and fit to be comfortable.
