There was a guy who probably saves my life by blocking traffic for me when my bike had an engine failure on I-20 once. It was dark, early rush hour and no one would stop so he turned on his flashers and stayed behind me till I could get off the road. I have done this before. I guy on a motorcycle ran into a van in front of him.

He fell off his bike; the Proud Trucker flag shirt. I was in a truck like this truck, right behind the bike. I stayed behind him to give him protection until he was able to get up and be on his way. Read some comments about he should have given her a ride. Not so. Some companies will fire you for someone riding in the cab with you. He may know he is a good guy, she doesn’t. She could be found by the side of the road dead if she accepted a ride from the wrong person. Best if she stays with her bike and when the police see her she has them call a flatbed wrecker to tow her bike or bring her gas. She may have a cell phone herself and call.
