I understand that people think he should have played a solo on that stage while standing erect but I can tell you that every musician on that stage was looking forward to what Prince was going to play and do and the electricity of the musical moment was unprecedented. I was so excited when I first watched it, I felt like I wanted to throw a chair. People can say anything they want about Prince, but nobody can argue that he put on one of the best Superbowl shows in history when he played in the pouring rain.

It surprised me reading a Official Stay petty shirt of negative comments especially, one douche bag calling Prince a douche bag, must have some sort of grudge, another from a so-called musician. For some reason, they won’t admit that’s an amazing performance by Prince and the whole band. Prince was like marmite, u either love him or hate him but be man enough to admit he was unique and probably one of the best guitarists we will ever witness. The rest of the band knew where he was going with it and they played their part, as legends do. It’s about real music, played on real instruments, played by real musical icons with music in their blood. Sadly, this kind of talent is thinning out.
