Laome days later, we come back again to Jeep Chicago CUBS tshirt, the nurse calls EMS, and she’s in the ER. She gets transferred to ICU, seems to be in a semicoma. She can barely talk and keep her eyes open. Her Potassium levels are sky high. They lower her levels and try to keep it steady. We were there a lot. I stayed in the room to watch the nurse insert a Foley Cath in her, and we watched the nurses clean her up. We saw a Huge Bedsore in her thigh that had to have occurred at the previous nursing home. There were so many feelings going on. Anger, sadness, fear, shock, etc.
