I am always the last know anything, or never get to go anywhere. I used to have a lot of friends before I had a daughter, out partying and everything but once I had my daughter I slowly stopped going out with my friends because they were still living the fast life and obviously I couldn’t. now that she’s two I have about four or five friends twice a month we meet up at each other, houses we bring our kids they play together we drink wine and it’s pretty chill.

Half of you either want to toss your kids anywhere to be alone and the If lost return my salty ass to the beach shirt. When my boys were still babies I felt guilty leaving them with my husband after he got home from work. Now they are older I don’t mind as much. But none of my friends stuck around to wait this long. During the day I see no reason to hang out without our kids. We can have lunch or go to each other’s houses. The kids can be crazy for a whole hour but as soon as they do 1 cute thing we will get over it.
