He is 37 yrs old now he still has up and down days but is still with us and I am so grateful to dr stranger and UCSC for the medical know-how ps. I took him home after a year in the hospital. So what a wonderful caring nurse to care enough to take care of blaze. It’s hard to feel too happy for them if the only reason his mother gave him up was that she couldn’t afford his life-saving health care.

Although the nurse is a I need a double shot of whatever my toddler is on tshirt, instead of her taking him away from the mother, she should have spearheaded a fundraiser and coordinated care for the mother to keep her child. I wonder if this is only part of the story as to why the Mother gave up her son to this loving family. I really feel for her doing this but would like to hear from her so she can explain more. At least this little boy has got the care he needs and is in a loving caring family environment now.
