My husband and kids tried I may live in North Dakota but I’ll always have the Yankees in my DNA tshirt. I looked at them as they were hours stricken, smiled and said “What? It’s an acquired taste.” Its the only soda my gramps got and we learned to like it! Yes and so much that I drive from North Carolina to Massachusetts to purchase it! Love my Moxie. I drank it as a kid but my taste buds must’ve changed because it started to taste like Aim toothpaste to me.

I never vomited after drinking something so fast as when I first tried a mouthful of I may live in North Dakota but I’ll always have the Yankees in my DNA tshirt! My husband loves it. I think it tastes like a little root beer with a lot of Robitussin. For me, it’s a once in a while thing, couldn’t drink all the time, definitely an acquired taste! My Grandfather loved the stuff, I never had a taste for it though.
