They are designed to cater to a wider market than tailored fit, which are ultimately targeted at a more niche audience.A tailored fit is generally the same as a slim fit, and is still designed to offer a flattering fit for the wearer by gentling tapering towards the waist. They also fit slightly differently around the arms and chest, although the difference will vary between brands. Essentially, tailored fit are meant to emulate the experience of visiting an actual tailor who would size the specifically for you. The irony of course is that tailored fit are mass-produced, like all other, and so it’s impossible to create a tailored that fits everyone. Tailored fit aren’t particularly specialised in their allowance around the chest, arms, or waist, and so still aren’t suitable for an athletic build. These are often made of 100% cotton, which sacrifices a degree of comfort.

I am happy with these T-shirts. They are slim but not tight-fitting. That is what you want because they are T-shirts, not undershirts. They are perfect for wearing with shorts. They have enough room to move around, but they are not baggy. I am 5’6″, 135 lbs and bought size XS. I had to hem them because they were a bit long, but otherwise the fit was great.

I got these shirts to use during summer yard work to keep sun off my arms. I wanted white cotton t-shirt material for it’s breathability, and low price so that if a shirt got trashed in the process it wasn’t a big deal or I could die it if I really needed to.
Not much else to it, these are long sleeve white t shirts, so if you like wearing white t shirts, just imagine the sleeves being extended and there you have it! White is also good for summer yard work since it reflects the sun light. They also do okay and blocking the thorns and branches although it isn’t the most durable material. I feel certain I will get more than my moneys worth from these as I tend to keep my white t shirts for many years until they practically disintegrate.

I ordered a two-pack of these Slim Fit t-shirts and a two-pack of the Regular Fit t-shirts to compare and contrast. Both styles are made of the same thick cotton knit fabric, which is soft and substantial, but the fits are definitely different. These Slim Fit shirts are significantly tighter fitting in the stomach, arms, and chest area(s). The Regular Fit shirts are much looser in all three of these areas, especially the arms.
Compared to a Regular Fit I would categorize these as a Slim Fit not, a Snug Fit; they fit close to the body but not tightly enough to show something like muscle definition, if that’s what you’re looking for.
Overall the quality is nice, with minimal fading and only very minor shrinkage after laundering in cold water and putting in a medium dryer. Recommended if you like a close fitting, thick cotton t-shirt.
