I had a Chevrolet Sunflower shirt of my very first cars. No power steering, no automatic transmission, no hydraulic brakes! I absolutely loved driving that car and to this day it stands as one of the most fun I’ve ever driven. I can only imagine what driving this thing would be like. I owned a diesel version Chevette With a 5 speed!. It was a Japanese motor from the factory! I always got the funniest looks fueling up at a truck stop! True story! It was one of the best cars ever had! It got totaled when I was hit by a forklift at my job I had. The forklifts parking break.

Hyster disengaged and it rolled down aChevrolet Sunflower shirt and across the parking lot to the employees parking area and smashed it sideways into a light pole totaled it. It had no chance against an 8-ton counterweight side of the forklift. I was so mad that was a good car. My brother had a hot running ford ranchero and lost 4 times to a Chevette with a huge motor in it. I’d actually rode in it before so I finally told my brother to give it up, he’d never beat it! A thing must be awful to drive with so much weight in the front. Nevertheless, impressive work. Agree with others comments about the sound giving it away in an instant.
