I heard a Body type works out but definitely says yes to Whataburger shirt like that in church one time. This lady had some very beautiful china and never used it. She was so afraid of it getting broken so she never took it out of the cupboard. Maybe the aunt liked her cabinet full of sparkly things because it was simply there and she got great pleasure from that? The reason I don’t cover any of my furniture or save any of my fine glass or China for special occasions. When I bought a dress I wear it the very next weekend. If I died I’m not leaving new anything or a bunch of new clothes like my Mom and Mother in law did. They both left a full closet of new clothes that they were saving it for special occasions!  I had an eccentric Auntie. She was a ‘double-edged sword’.

On the one hand enrichened my life with her Body type works out but definitely says yes to Whataburger shirt, her political views etc. But she was also so set in her ways and never tried to embrace the new generation, other points of view and just enjoy every day. I am eternally grateful to her as I try to learn from her and be a fun, Auntie. However, my nephew told me the other day as a result, I am an ‘annoying Auntie’. Too jolly. Love you guys! Let’s dress like a party every day! We leave all this stuff behind and never ever use it to the full. I wear my best and put on makeup and wear the best smell good! Every day is a special day! So grateful and so blessed.
