My mom was my best friend and I wanted to be that to my kids but with my oldest child, she told me one day she needed her Mom. I did the best I could and I love them with all my heart. Now that my two oldest daughters have children they now know what it is to be a parent. I don’t feel appreciated by my children, but I know I did the best I could so I rest easy. I don’t have any regrets. I absolutely love this. A lot of people still don’t understand the friendship I have with my daughter’s bonus mom, but we set a goal as women to love each other past the hurt for our children and it gets more beautiful with the years that pass.
