Derek’s work is inspired by his love of pop culture, especially the iconic roles of actors. He has produced a large amount of illustrations featuring the various characters Bill Murray has portrayed as well as the likes of Steve Martin, Owen Wilson, Johnny Depp, Sylvester Stallone and many, many more. His obsession has manifested itself again with ‘Scuba Steve Zissou’, a design that features Bill Murray as the eponymous oceanographer from the Wes Anderson classic movie ‘The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou’. I usually wear a women’s med or large, ordered these in mens medium wanting a baggy fit but they shrunk quite a bit in the dryer. They still fit, and they do loosen up a little throughout the day, but thought it was worth mentioning.
My boyfriend usually wears a m/l and the shirt was his perfect size before washing but shrunk too much in the wash for him to wear.
I used them to tie dye and they worked great.
Overall it’s a super comfy shirt.

I dont think my head is mounted on my body in the wrong spot. The neck line on these shirts seem to want to choke me out. I have been hanging my reading glasses on the neck line to add enough weight to pull it down. Maybe I just need to have my head moved to the back further.
