ALT (as he is known) has been a fixture at the fete since 1974, and so who better to turn to for a primer on the storied grand affair? This year’s theme is “Camp: Notes on Fashion,” based on Susan Sontag’s seminal 1964 essay “Notes on ‘Camp,’” and designed to explore the best of exaggerated, fun, capital-F fashions Anti AsianAmerican Racism AAPI Support Asian Lives Matter shirt . But first, a few essential talking points are in order: From the evening’s origins to the best Met Gala dress to date, ALT sounds off here on everything you need to know ahead of fashion’s biggest night. The Met Gala is the Super Bowl of fashion. On the first Monday in May, everyone who is anyone comes to the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the annual fundraising gala celebrating the Costume Institute’s magnificent new exhibition on a changing theme. It all started in 1946, and over the decades, it has become a grand affair—the party of the year. The one other constant is the red carpet fashion. This was an absolute steal for a gift for my my husband. Fits as expected, it is thin enough for our hot MS weather but good quality that it won’t fall apart quickly, it is soft and comfortable he says. The hwy logo is cute with the black, it looks great on him.

I am could all the time during all four seasons. As long as I can have my head and arms covered, I am much warmer. I bought these hoping they were mid-way on the heaviness spectrum and they are perfect. I have a few female long sleeve t-shirts but they are not the length I wanted nor the thickness or heaviness for warmth. These are not as heavy as some of long sleeve shirts I wear outside … nice in the middle. I washed them immediately and did not see any shrinkage. I love them. I wear them mainly under a short sleeve night gown or over shorts. They work well.

Bought these as pajama tops for my 12.5 son. I would say they run a little small as he’s usually an adult XS and I accidentally bought adult small and it’s not outrageously large on him. He’s 5ft tall and about 95lbs so a pretty small to average 12 year old.
