Manchester City return to top of table as Foden goal earns win vs. Tottenham

Manchester City moved back to the top of the table with a 1-0 victory over Tottenham thanks to Phil Foden’s first Premier League goal.

The 18-year-old headed Sergio Aguero’s knock down in from close range after the Argentina international had got on the end of Bernardo Silva’s cross.

Guardiola joked that he was genius for bringing in Foden for just his second Premier League start with the 18-year-old scoring the only goal after five minutes.

Lorraine Warren, a renowned paranormal investigator and the custodian of arguably the world’s most famous haunted doll, has died at age 92. On Friday, Lorraine’s son-in-law, Tony Spera, posted an announcement on the Facebook page of the New England Society for Psychic Research, which Lorraine and her late husband, Ed, founded in 1952. “She died peacefully in her sleep at home” on Thursday night, Spera said.

Zoom nearly reaches $16 billion in value after first day of trading

San Francisco (CNN Business)Video-conferencing company Zoom soared during its debut as a public company.

Shares were up more than 72% at the end of its first day of trading Thursday, to $62 a share. Zoom (ZM) had priced its IPO at $36 per share. It was valued at just under $16 billion when the markets closed.
The company was the second highest-profile technology IPO on Thursday, overshadowed in hype by social site Pinterest (PINS).

Rapper Kodak Black posts bail after arrest at Lewiston-Queenston Bridge

LEWISTON, N.Y. (WKBW) — Rapper Kodak Black is among four Florida men arrested at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge.

New York State Police say Black, whose real name is Bill Kapri, was with three other men trying to enter the United States when they were detained at the border for weapon and drug possession. Police say Kodak Black had marijuana and a Glock 9mm pistol that he did not declare inside the Cadillac Escalade he was driving.

There’s no more proof of the NFL’s love for itself than what it’s doing today – holding its annual schedule release day. A fake day of celebration that the league created to give itself even more attention during a time when nobody really needs to be paying attention to the NFL.

Liverpool returned to the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League after beating Porto 4-1 in the second leg of their last-eight tie at the Estadio do Dragao on Wednesday.

The Reds arrived in Portugal with a 2-0 aggregate lead and padded their advantage with goals from Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Virgil van Dijk, with Eder Militao heading a mere consolation for the hosts.
