Blake Griffin has cleared waivers and will now join the Brooklyn Nets for the remainder of the 2020-21 NBA season. His agent, Sam Goldfeder, confirmed the news to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski on Sunday night. Griffin, who had been with the Detroit Pistons since a 2018 trade, agreed to a buyout with the team on Friday in which he gave back over $13 million in order to secure his free agency. Now, he has chosen to reunite with his close friend and former Clippers teammate DeAndre Jordan with the Nets.

J.J. Watt agrees to two-year contract with Arizona Cardinals

TEMPE, Ariz. — Free-agent pass-rusher J.J. Watt has agreed to a two-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals, the team announced Monday.

Terms were not disclosed, but a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the deal is worth $31 million and includes $23 million guaranteed.

A former USA Gymnastics coach charged Thursday morning with two dozen criminal charges died by suicide hours later, Michigan’s state attorney general has confirmed.

John Geddert, 63, was accused of human trafficking, forced labor and sexual misconduct, among other crimes.

Two of Lady Gaga’s French bulldogs were stolen Wednesday night in Los Angeles, according to reports. The pop star’s dog walker was shot with a semi-automatic handgun during the robbery.

The dog walker is “recovering well,” a source told CNN.

Lady Gaga is offering a $500,000 reward for the return of the dogs, Koji and Gustav — with “no questions asked.”
