A man who died in China Monday reportedly tested positive for a hantavirus, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you should worry another pandemic is coming.

Hantaviruses are a family of virus that spread through rodents, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

In Yunnan Province, a man died on his way back to Shandong Province, according to Global Times, an English-language Chinese news outlet.

Governor Whitmer Declares State Shutdown In COVID-19 Fight

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer says the state will be under a stay-at-home order starting at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.

It comes as the state as climbed from zero to more than 1,000 coronavirus cases in 13 days.

Governor Whitmer issued the stay-at-home order at a press conference Monday morning.

The state now says 15 people have died from the virus. That is 7 new deaths since 2 p.m. Sunday.

Country Music Legend Kenny Rogers Dies At 81

Country music icon Kenny Rogers, whose hits included “Lucille,” “Lady” and “The Gambler,” died late Friday at his home in Sandy Springs, Ga., his family said in a statement. He was 81.

The Houston-born country star had 20 No.-1 hits and three Grammys and performed for some 60 years before retiring from touring in 2017 at age 79, according to the Associated Press.

Rogers didn’t write most of his hits and often said he didn’t consider himself much of a songwriter.

President Donald Trump announced at a press conference Wednesday that he will invoke the Defense Production Act to allow private industry to increase manufacturing and distribution of emergency medical supplies and equipment to fight the COVID-19 virus.

“It can do a lot of good things if we need it,” he said at a White House press conference. “We’ll have it all completed, signing it in just a little while.”

(CNN)A 5.7 magnitude earthquake shook the Salt Lake City area Wednesday morning, cutting power to tens of thousands and suspending work at Utah’s public health lab amid the coronavirus pandemic, officials said. Flights to Salt Lake International Airport were diverted, departures were postponed and terminals and concourses were evacuated so engineers could inspect the facilities, the airport said.
