Juventus guaranteed themselves top spot in Group D of the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League with a 1-0 victory over Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.

The Serie A giants had already booked their spot in the knockout rounds, but Paulo Dybala’s stunning first-half free-kick for the hosts ensured they will advance as pool winners.

(CNN)At least 23 people have been killed, several more are missing and hundreds have been injured after an earthquake struck Albania on Tuesday.

The quake, which had a preliminary rating of 6.4 magnitude, hit the European nation at an approximate depth of 20 kilometers (12 miles) early Tuesday local time, according to the United States Geological Survey. Aniah Blanchard update: Third suspect arrested in connection with disappearance

A third suspect has been arrested in connection to the disappearance of 19-year-old Aniah Blanchard, the same day her remains were believed to have been discovered in Macon County.

David Lee Johnson Jr., 63, of Montgomery, has been charged with hindering prosecution for his alleged part in the disappearance of Blanchard, Lee County District Attorney Brandon Hughes confirmed. He’s being held on a $7,500 bond.

Hughes declined to say in what way Johnson hindered prosecution.

Prince Andrew announced Wednesday that he will “step back from public duties for the foreseeable future” because of the continuing controversy over the British royal’s past friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Andrew also said he is willing to help law-enforcement investigations of the deceased wealthy investor and of Epstein’s possible co-conspirators in his crimes.

“It has become clear to me over the last few days that the circumstances relating to my former association with Jeffrey Epstein has become a major disruption to my family’s work and the valuable work going on in the many organisations and charities that I am proud to support,” the Duke of York said in a statement.

Sen. Ted Cruz couldn’t resist ripping Rep. Eric Swalwell on Tuesday for appearing to fart on live television.

The Texas lawmaker tweeted out the iconic Ruprecht dinner scene from the 1988 comedy “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,” showing Steve Martin’s character appearing to relieve himself at the table.

“Leaked footage of Swalwell on MSNBC last night…,” Cruz wrote.

Cruz was referring to the California Democrat’s appearance the night before on MSNBC’s “Hardball” during which he appeared to break wind halfway through his interview.
