Eden Hazard: Real Madrid and Chelsea agree Belgian international’s transfer

(CNN)Real Madrid has agreed Eden Hazard’s transfer from Chelsea for a reported fee of €100 million ($113 million).

“The player remains linked to the club during the next five seasons, until June 30, 2024,” said Real on its website.
Hazard’s transfer is subject to the Belgian international completing a medical and signing his contract with the Spanish club, said Chelsea.

Google’s gaming system Stadia is coming in November. Here’s what we know

New York (CNN Business)Google’s video-game streaming service, Stadia, will start rolling out in November, the company announced Thursday on a YouTube livestream.

The system, which was originally announced in March, will act like a Netflix for video games. Google says it will eventually allow people to play games directly over WiFi from any TV with Chromecast, computer with a Chrome browser, and Google Pixel phones. There are no downloads as the games themselves exist on Google cloud servers.

The Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday announced that veteran outfielder Andrew McCutchen has been diagnosed with a torn ACL in his left knee. He’ll miss the remainder of the 2019 season.

When you shoot a 68 while playing in the final pairing of a PGA Tour event and your playing partner stalls out, you’re supposed to win the golf tournament. Instead? Adam Scott, playing with 54-hole leader Martin Kaymer in the final pairing, went 34-34 after starting two up on Patrick Cantlay (playing in front of them) but got absolutely torched down the stretch.

That’s because Cantlay went out and shot a filthy 8-under 64 to take the second PGA Tour event of his career by two over Scott and four over Kaymer (who shot 72).

Google recovers from outage that took down YouTube Gmail and Snapchat

YouTube, Snapchat, Gmail, Nest, Discord, and a number of other web services suffered from major from outages in the US today. The root cause was issues with Google’s Cloud service that powers apps other than just Google’s own web services. Google’s issues started at around 3PM ET / 12PM PT, and the company resolved them after more than four hours.

The issues largely affected those on the East Coast of the US, but some YouTube and Gmail users across Europe also reported that they were unable to access the services.
