New York (CNN)A pair of recent real estate studies are shedding light on how people of color have been consistently disadvantaged in the US housing market for years and are largely missing out on the country’s ongoing home-buying frenzy.

For nearly a decade, homes sold in mostly Black neighborhoods have been undervalued by an average of $46,000, according to a Redfin analysis released Wednesday.
