There must be ways of screening the mother if not the milk to ensure there is no crossover of all the health conditions that would prevent a mother from donating.

Go back far enough there were wet nurses who were women often servants who had their own baby and therefore would have a Who died Mwana Wamai shirt for those women of the house who felt it undignified to let their own baby suckle.
