What was worse was having somebody else tell us when we could visit each other. It was draining!! We did everything right, got an education, found proper careers, worked hard and for what? To Build somebody else’s dream? To hopefully retire at an old age and then explore the world. This week a tough little girl came to see me that had been through treatment at one of the children’s hospitals for cancer. She had no hair because of the treatment and had a full cast on her. This young lady was wheeled up to my chair by her parents. As soon as she saw me her face lit up brighter then a Christmas tree. We talked about what she wanted and her being a good young lady. Great shirts and the price was even greater. My husband likes to wear hanes t shirts for work. He works outside so these are thin enough to keep cool and protects him from the sun. During winter he wears his jacket and the shirts don’t feel too bulky.

It is a nice light weight summer t-shirt. But I don’t expect it last very long. Size was slightly small for the size in my opinion. I buy my t-shirts large for me anyways so it worked out fine. But you might want to order a size up.

What do I mean? To put it simply, these shirts come in a wide variety of colors and styles, but are made of different materials: either 100% cotton or cotton/poly blend (heather). One of these you should embrace with your whole heart, and the other should be avoided at all costs. Let me explain.
First off, I’ll just say I’m tall and lanky, so this is just my review for how the shirts fit me. But I generally wear a large or medium, and most shirts fit me just fine. I have purchased several of these two-pack Amazon brand shirts and I can say pretty solidly that the soft, heather versions of the shirt all fit great. Slim fit, but not “skin-tight” fit. The bottom hem hits below the waist but not below the butt (at least on me.) Very comfy. Decent cut. Nice room in the shoulders. I wear them all the time. I own the dark gray, light gray, orange, and navy blue versions of these heather shirts.
HOWEVER. The all-cotton version of these shirts are pretty miserable. The material is stiff and somewhat thick. The cut is terrible. It is simultaneously too tight in the shoulders but baggy around your neck. It bunches up under your arms uncomfortably. Poorly made. I only wear these shirts around the house. When I tried it on for the first time, my wife literally said, “What’s wrong with the neck and shoulders of that shirt?”
So to summarize: heather version of these shirts are great, especially for the price point. 100% cotton version should not be worn by anyone in my opinion.
