She worked three jobs to support us and was always kind. When my siblings and I got to an age where we knew what that meant, we never called each other names that would hurt. I know everyone wasn’t raised in the same kind of environment, but thank God you lived through it, and never allow anyone to treat you like that again, even if they are your parents. God bless and keep all those sweet people that were affected by cruelty.

Wonderful words of wisdom from a very smart man who learned how to change things because of being put down when he was young! That’s what we are supposed to do learn to love ourselves, no matter what others say! Years ago, people were very ignorant, even parents, many, many pats onthe back, to make up for one put down. People just don’t realize how hurtful it is when we are shamed and called names! Sad but true!
