The tiger was brought to his knees by the ‘Recession. This original design by Lisa Van Eyck features two ‘Belle Birds’. The design was inspired by the illustrations that often appear in early Christian gospel manuscripts scuh as the 9th Century Book of Kells. We like to pronounce these as the ‘Belly Birds’, The smaller bird is similar to the bird on the old Irish penny, it likes to accompany the big bird! An Original design adapted by Lisa Van Eyck, in the style of the illuminated Irish gospel the Book of Kells. The design is similar to the bird on the old Irish penny, which was used before the euro came in 2001. We called this design the ‘Belle Bird’ which we like to pronounce as ‘belly bird’! I am could all the time during all four seasons. As long as I can have my head and arms covered, I am much warmer. I bought these hoping they were mid-way on the heaviness spectrum and they are perfect. I have a few female long sleeve t-shirts but they are not the length I wanted nor the thickness or heaviness for warmth. These are not as heavy as some of long sleeve shirts I wear outside … nice in the middle. I washed them immediately and did not see any shrinkage. I love them. I wear them mainly under a short sleeve night gown or over shorts. They work well.

I bought these for my son in Alaska who has to layer clothing. This is perfect for his 2nd layer. It washable. Fits a lil loose but we ordered for that purpose. He is quite happy with the fit. We bought size larger.
