Wells Bridal gown with shoes by Casadei, a Roger Vivier bag, and jewels by Fred Leighton Retro Clover Anime Black Japanese Manga Asta Costume shirt . It made for an ensemble that was decidedly on-theme without being too cheesy or traditional. So, as she gears up for her big wedding day—the time and place is still TBC—at least one thing is for certain: this bride-to-be clearly has good taste.Ryan Korban is launching his own furniture collection, Korban, in conjunction with the American maker EJ Victor. The forty pieces run the gamut from seats to tables, lighting to sofas. Even if you’ve not heard of the name Ryan Korban before, the chances are that you have sat on, or stood by, something he has designed. He has been the visionary behind the interiors—and its furniture—of plenty of fashion designer clients: Alexander Wang (including his tenure at Balenciaga), Joseph Altuzarra, Brandon Maxwell, and Aquazurra’s Edgardo Osorio. And Wang, as well as the likes of Anna Ewers, Binx Walton, and tattoo artist Mr. K (of New York’s legendary Bang Bang), feature in the campaign that Korban has shot for the launch. You’ll certainly recognize his aesthetic, which conflates a chicly minimalist noir vibe with undulating bronzed curves; it’s as if Jean Prouvé had been signed up to conjure up a place that Patrick Bateman could call home. But while that implies a level of aesthetic headiness, Korban is designing for real people with real apartments and real lives, as the conversation which follows demonstrates. Korban, the collection, goes on sale this fall.

What do I mean? To put it simply, these shirts come in a wide variety of colors and styles, but are made of different materials: either 100% cotton or cotton/poly blend (heather). One of these you should embrace with your whole heart, and the other should be avoided at all costs. Let me explain.

First off, I’ll just say I’m tall and lanky, so this is just my review for how the shirts fit me. But I generally wear a large or medium, and most shirts fit me just fine. I have purchased several of these two-pack Amazon brand shirts and I can say pretty solidly that the soft, heather versions of the shirt all fit great. Slim fit, but not “skin-tight” fit. The bottom hem hits below the waist but not below the butt (at least on me.) Very comfy. Decent cut. Nice room in the shoulders. I wear them all the time. I own the dark gray, light gray, orange, and navy blue versions of these heather shirts.

HOWEVER. The all-cotton version of these shirts are pretty miserable. The material is stiff and somewhat thick. The cut is terrible. It is simultaneously too tight in the shoulders but baggy around your neck. It bunches up under your arms uncomfortably. Poorly made. I only wear these shirts around the house. When I tried it on for the first time, my wife literally said, “What’s wrong with the neck and shoulders of that shirt?”

So to summarize: heather version of these shirts are great, especially for the price point. 100% cotton version should not be worn by anyone in my opinion.

I brought these for me (female) for work and they are perfect. Gives that added warmth needed in my office that is often cold.
