I am so proud of this truly amazing young woman/granddaughter of mine. And I choke up with loving her so much. I was sitting in the audience. This poem contributed a large part to me finally seeking help. And so it’s part of the reason I’m still here. And there are no words for that gratitude.

Every time my bf, also a good man, tells me he loves Patron Saint of Shade shirt, I think those things too. Fucking sobbing. Clementine von Radics is the reason I finally started finally sharing my own poetry, and her work is always both an inspiration and a deep comfort. So glad to see her incredible and vital work here! Holy cow this hit home so hard! Brave warrior of the heart, plumbing the depths to find the glittering beauty of the heart. Sometimes it’s broken glass, sometimes it’s very old, very rare diamonds.
I came back to watch a second time and cried again too. So powerful and I’m so thankful for the man that stands behind me and leads me to that moment of brilliance and being unapologetic. She’s beautiful. Be willing to find the beauty and courage in the fight. Can so relate to this only instead of other’s pushing me away I don’t give them the chance in isolation.
