This is why I am a dog person. Dogs are “Ride or die” to the end, no conditions or Official guild member Fairy Tail shirt. Cats will sit and watch, then step over your cold body on their way to the litter box. Alone at home with my dog after a harsh chemotherapy treatment I got very sick around 3 am. I called my sister she came into the house my dog lead her to me ( I couldn’t walk).
My dog jumped on me and covered my body with hers. She looked back and forth at my sister as if to say please help my Mom. She let her touch me and give me meds but she never got off my body until the meds start working and took my fever down. After every treatment, she would lay on me or in the bed with me until I felt better. Anyone who came to see had to get her approval to set near me. About 2 weeks after my last treatment she stops guarding me.
