Nope not a hugger shirt. I am proud to be different. This crisis made me more aware of my surroundings and it made me a stronger young woman. It made me realize that I can get through anything and be okay. I thank god every day that I have a supportive family that has been with me through everything. Someone I knew had a baby at 16. The family offered to support her to care for the baby but also urged her to consider adoption within the family. She chose to raise the baby herself, with families support. Not every mother can be a mother and not every father can be a father some times adoption is really better than life being unwanted and unloved.

The Nope not a hugger shirt to be ones where the child knows from an early age, where they came from. So perhaps this may help be helpful for the family to consider. As the child will eventually find out and it can be devastating if discovered in adolescence or adulthood. As someone else said if this child keeps the baby what support will she have from you and the family? I also wonder what support she will have if she gives the baby up too, seeing a child being cared for by others can be really a lot tougher than people realize. It will be even tougher if they deny she was the child’s birth mother.
