She made really pointed remarks on the 2nd day that I knew her when we had a fire drill and I was standing outside without a lick of makeup on. She said that she would’ve stayed inside of the building to put on at least foundation. She’s the reason why I felt I had to wear makeup in college. I went to class without makeup maybe 1-2 times per semester, but otherwise, I wore makeup throughout my college career.

Mess with the mermaid you get the Merblade tshirt, Dylan, told me that I looked the same with or without makeup. I was in the habit of meeting him for breakfast/lunch sans makeup because he’s gay and a good friend; he also took a class with me and we saw each other with my normal makeup on regularly. I wasn’t allowed to wear daily makeup up until I was 18. And even then, my mother, as she still does with my own decisions, tried to shut it down. The putting-foundation-on-in-a-fiery-inferno girl mentioned above had convinced me to wear makeup on a daily basis and my mother was starting to notice foundation on a shirt collar.
