Watched again last night to see if i would come to another conclusion, and I’m A Crazy Hiking Woman Who Says Fuck A Lot TShirt , it was just 45 minutes of senseless destruction and people burning. It felt like an overblown action film, with hardly any connection to any character. Game of Thrones has always had plenty of unadulterated violence, but there was enough story and great acting/writing to balance it out. This episode was fluff. One cannot watch Game Of I’m A Crazy Hiking Woman Who Says Fuck A Lot TShirt and expect a happy ending or characteristically narrative nobility in the characters. All of the characters are flawed, and there isn’t a single ruler who hasn’t done extremely boneheaded and rash things. It’s nice to think of Dany as a heroic figure, but she never was. She had a soft spot for slaves, probably largely because how her brother gave her away and treated her like slave property. That’s about it. Beyond that, Dany is as power hungry and self-centered as any of the other claimants to the throne.
