Maybe some get burned out and forget why they wanted to teach in the first place. We’ve had very similar experiences like this! With 2 of my kids in school. We now homeschool for this reason! They told me my son was not cut out for college while he was still in elementary school!

My daughter is dyslexic I had a killer time at the Jim Jones Kool-Aid Festival tshirt and very intelligent. But they couldn’t help her. I do believe teachers are under paid and have too many students to teach at one time but to say that about a child is just so sad. I’ve had amazing teachers but I did have 2 teachers that told me straight out they didn’t think I would graduate at all. Just cos you don’t know one does not mean they don’t exist. I personally don’t know any murderers. It’s not the point. The point is you can be great without grades. But many children taught that. They are taught that failure in class is failure in life.
