my daughter is 28 has been battling ovarian cancer for almost 4 yrs, none of her high school friends ask her how she’s doing . It bothers me because she was always there for them but because they have important jobs and married. I get they move on but a lot of them spent nights at our house. Even family doesn’t help. I’m her mom and I am here for her. I cant walk on water but i can stagger on captain morgan shirt I have God in my soul my daughter tries to stay positive but it gets hard when the dr gives you news and you wonder if you will be around for your 2 children I have recently come to that conclusion and have decided that my FB size is about to decrease by about 3/4 gone. All the people that I write to and they never answer me, are going to be removed from my list of FB friends, obviously they are not my friends if they can’t be bothered to write me back. So I don’t need them, and they don’t need me.

Many times when you need someone there is noone around when you least expect it, one comes “just dropping by” because your place is near to the most important friend to visit. It seems you are just a side trip not really the intended destination. I will pray when I feel so alone I don’t need to be in a party just to have friends. You are correct… even i avoid close friendships bcoz we mostly end up getting hurt… we are not supposed to expect love or any thing from others but We should have that helping nature towards others bcoz what we can do, we have to do… that’s what i believe… don’t expect anything from others but Have trust in God..
