This is an eye-opener to not only judges but to everyone. We have had this kind of experience with my mum a few years back. It also started with love ended a scam. Good thing I interfered in their so-called love. The same story as hers, a soldier based in Afghanistan, sent a parcel contained a diamond ring and funny thing was the Hunting Leopard Merry Christmas shirt also contained an iPhone X wherein iPhone X has not been released back then. Pity mum was so innocent. Then a Malaysian citizen contacted mum to pay Php40k in order for the parcel to be released. Then I figured out it was really a scam. Glad mum didn’t fall into the bait.

Scammers often use famous celebrities’ photos to be their profile photo. They will use any kind of tricks to get money. I hate stupid scammers. Always the Hunting Leopard Merry Christmas shirt soldier or vet friend request with the obliviously fake profiles. Who in this world doesn’t seem to receive these? I delete and block all random requests on sight. This seems to happen so often, yet there are obvious holes in the ”soldier’s’ story. Why on earth Shanghai?? It saddens me to think of how desperately lonely women who fall for this kind of scam must be.
