Coming from a softball mom this would be absolutely heartbreaking! I know Horse Rodeo Mom vintage shirt. If softball is out then I am boycotting! Softball has never been more popular than it is now. This would be a travesty. As much as I love both baseball and softball, very few countries are proficient at either. Across international borders are there really more breakdancing, Karate and sport climbing teams than there are in BB/SB? Sure it costs more to build fields and facilities for a real sport.

Usually, there are maybe 4-5 countries that play well, let alone even know what the sport is. Sadly, there’s not a huge motivating factor to get more countries to participate at an Olympic level. I couldn’t ever see a country like Belarus having a competitive softball team, but maybe a really bitchen break dancer. They’re going to have breakdancing but not Softball! That’s messed up. Apparently, the movers and shakers in the “sport” of breakdancing kicked baseball and softball organizers to the curb. Sell your bats and gloves kids and learn how to squirm!
