This more for the new generation so they can catch the same feel as we did with this movie. I think what people are missing is in the 90s we had cartoon/animated theme era with kid/disney movies. Everything is more CGI now and CGI has been improving like crazy. Its allowing the directors to have more fun and be creativity in movies! All respect the work. I wont judge until I see the movie. I appreciate the work that’s gone into this, it is very impressive in its own right. I’m excitedly anxious to see it! But I have Funny Cinco De Mayo Llamacorn T-Shirt: why redo something so classically and wonderfully completed? The animated, The Lion King. The songs, the colors and animation are what make it what it is. I know I have a bias to CG. I don’t want to watch a video game. Thanks for letting me get that out. I’m excited for a new version of a personal favorite (if ya couldn’t tell) story

I saw Lion King in theaters like Funny Cinco De Mayo Llamacorn T-Shirt when I was a kid. For this, I have my reservations, because of what changes they will make to Scar (shame on Disney for removing the best villain song ever) and hyenas (I will miss Whoopi’s voice).
However! The animation is fantastic and these trailers are squeal worthy. I withhold judgment of the final product.
