Do I look Nervous shirt

No place in her editorial did I read anything victim shaming. I need Do I look Nervous shirt She wrote about her experiences based on the reality of how women are treated. Instead, I read about her caution and understanding of how men act and how men dehumanize women. If she cannot talk honestly about herself and the things she’s done… then neither can anyone else. Because pointing to her experiences and nullifying them because your own don’t match, means that anyone can do the same to you.

Sheryl Bell is she a victim of her own poorly chosen words or Do I look Nervous shirt She’s certainly not a victim of a random Facebook comment. Well if you don’t want backlash definitely don’t write against a majority because that majority will turn into a mob and they will not stop until they draw blood. I see it all the time on Facebook. I haven’t read her article except for the title. I would say that as men are required and must behave responsibly so should women. There is a line that can be crossed. Anyone who denies that is living a lie.

It’s victim blaming because people are using her actions (writing a controversial editorial, wearing “revealing” clothing, staying out “too late”) to excuse the criminal/ugly/rude behavior of someone else. We can disagree with all or some of what she wrote. But suggesting that the way for her to have avoided the rude remarks and general Facebook piling-on is to stay silent is no better than suggesting women can avoid men’s catcalls by dressing more modestly. The construct is the same, IMO. Go ahead and disagree. I don’t agree with all of it either. But let’s not undermine one another by suggesting that she deserves to be treated like crap.
