Crouse could play as soon as Tuesday. … There are still four other players in the protocol, Liam O’Brien, Alex Galchenyuk, Christian Fischer and Ilya Lyubushkin. … The NHL over the weekend brought back taxi squads to help teams with a number of players out due to COVID, and the Coyotes assembled their six-man squad Monday, made up of players who had been at AHL Tucson. …The Coyotes went 5-2-1 against San Jose last season when both were in the West Division.
