The verified Instagram account of Michael Jones, better known by the wrestling moniker Virgil, confirmed his passing on Wednesday. His cause of death is unknown.

Former WWE star Michael Jones, better known by the wrestling name of Virgil, has died at 61, according to his verified Instagram account.

“This is to confirm the sad news about our beloved Meatsauce God and Wrestling Superstar Virgil/Michael Jones has passed away,” the Instagram post read.

Richard Lewis, Comedian and ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Star, Dies at 76

Richard Lewis, the stand-up comedian who also starred alongside Larry David in “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” died Tuesday night at his Los Angeles home due to a heart attack, Variety has confirmed. He was 76.

Lewis announced last April he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and was retiring from stand-up comedy. He most recently appeared in Season 12 of “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” currently airing on HBO.

In 2021, Lewis announced he would not appear in Season 11 of “Curb” in order to recover from three surgeries.

Actor Kenneth Mitchell, known for his work on “Star Trek,” died Saturday, according to StarTrek.com. He was 49.

CHICAGO – The Boston Celtics enjoyed their break and were ready to get back to work. The NBA leaders got the job done in another convincing win.

Derrick White scored 28 points, Jayson Tatum added 25 and the Celtics won their season-high seventh straight game, beating the Chicago Bulls 129-112 on Thursday night.

White and Tatum each made five of Boston’s 23 3-pointers. Jaylen Brown scored 21 points, and the Celtics came away with another convincing victory after pounding Brooklyn by 50 prior to the All-Star break.

February 23 – The Los Angeles Lakers will look to get back on track Friday night when they play the rubber match of their three-game season series against the visiting San Antonio Spurs.
The Lakers, minus LeBron James (sore ankle), will head home after a 128-110 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Thursday in San Francisco. Los Angeles played its second consecutive contest without James and had a three-game winning streak snapped.
