(CNN)Winter has arrived and so has a new trailer for “Game of Thrones.”

After months of anticipation, fans of the HBO fantasy series finally got their first extended look at the show’s final season.
HBO released the official trailer for Season 8 on Twitter Tuesday, with a simple message stating: “the trailer is here.”
The roughly two-minute preview opened with Arya Stark breathing heavy in darkness, speaking of the oncoming threat from the White Walkers and the army of the dead.

LONDON — Keith Flint, a high-octane founding member of the British dance act the Prodigy, who sang lead vocals on the hits “Firestarter” and “Breathe,” was found dead on Monday in Essex, England. He was 49.

“The Voice” contestant Janice Freeman has died at 33.

Freeman, who competed on Season 13 of the NBC show in 2017, died Saturday, her management confirmed in a statement posted Sunday to Freeman’s Instagram Stories.

“We are heartbroken to report that Janice Marie Freeman passed away … from an extreme case of pneumonia and a blood clot that traveled to her heart,” the statement reads. “While at home her husband Dion performed CPR until the ambulance arrived.

Renowned Argentine actress Christian Bach, who co-starred in the Telemundo series “La Patrona” and “La Impostora,” died at age 59, according to a statement released by her family.

Bach was the wife of Mexican actor Humberto Zurita, and mother of actor Sebastián Zurita. The couple also had a second son, Emiliano Zurita.

R&B singer R. Kelly turned himself in to Chicago police Friday night, hours after he was charged with multiple criminal counts of sexual abuse of several underage victims, police said.

Kelly took a van from his recording studio to a Chicago police precinct at about 8:15 p.m. CST, according to NBC Chicago. He was put under arrest about 15 minutes later, and was expected to appear in court for a bond hearing Saturday afternoon,

Peter Tork Of The Monkees Dies At 77

Peter Tork, a member of the 1960s moptopped TV rock quartet the Monkees, died Thursday. He was 77.

His death was announced on his official Facebook page and website. “Peter succumbed to a 10 year bout with adenoid cystic carcinoma, a rare cancer of the salivary glands,” it read.

The Monkees were a made-for-TV musical group whose comedic high jinks and misadventures were fashioned after the Beatles’ classic films A Hard Day’s Night and Help!
