Don’t look for Kelly McGillis in Top Gun: Maverick.

The actress, 62, originally played Tom Cruise‘s love interest Charlie in the 1986 film, but she was noticeably missing in the trailer for the upcoming sequel which dropped earlier this month.

McGillis opened up about why she won’t be in the film in an interview with Entertainment Tonight in which she said she wasn’t asked to return.

“I’m old and I’m fat and I look age appropriate for what my age is and that is not what that whole scene is about,” McGillis said.

President Donald Trump’s just-announced nominee to replace Dan Coats as director of national intelligence had already drawn national attention earlier this week, when he delivered an aggressive diatribe against former special counsel Robert Mueller.

Rep. John Ratcliffe, a Texas Republican and a member of the House Judiciary Committee, had zeroed in on one of the key lines from Mueller’s report on Russian election interference, possible coordination between Trump’s campaign and the Kremlin, and possible obstruction of justice by Trump himself.

Rapper Tay-K sentenced to 55 years in prison for deadly robbery

(CNN)Texas rapper Tay-K was sentenced to 55 years in prison and a $21,000 fine Tuesday on a murder charge for a 2016 robbery that left one man dead, according to the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office.

The Tarrant County jury also sentenced Tay-K, whose legal name is Taymor McIntyre, to 30 years in prison on one count of aggravated robbery and 13 years for each of the remaining two counts of aggravated robbery
The sentences will run concurrently,
