Davante Adams said he wouldn’t play under the franchise tag for the Green Bay Packers, and that appears to be the case.

The Las Vegas Raiders are acquiring Adams from the Packers in exchange for their 2022 first- and second-round picks, and giving the superstar receiver a new five-year, $141.25 million contract, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported.

Thousands braved the rain and lined 5th Avenue for the parade, while Irish bars quickly filled up across the city.

“This is the best thing that happened to us in two years,” said Mike Carty,

Randy Gregory expected to sign with Broncos after nearly agreeing to deal with Cowboys

The frenzy of free agency officially arrived on Tuesday.

Just moments after the Cowboys announced they had agreed to terms on a new five-year deal with Randy Gregory, the defensive end changed his mind, spurning Dallas to instead agree to a five-year, $70 million deal with the Denver Broncos, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport added that a hang-up in contract language was a sticking point for Gregory in returning to the Cowboys.

A Groggy Senate Approves Making Daylight Saving Time Permanent

The Braves Are Going to Miss Freddie Freeman

Matt Olson is a great player, but Atlanta made a mistake in choosing an aging curve over the face of its franchise.

Fifteen years with the Braves, the last four as a top 10 MVP finisher, Freddie Freeman appears to be worth more to the Dodgers than to the only team he has known. It makes sense only when aging curves guide teams more than the halo effect of signing,

The Adam Project Feels Like a Fake Movie

The Adam Project doesn’t feel like a real movie. It feels phony both from the outside — Ryan Reynolds traveling back in time to meet his 12-year-old self and do battle against futuristic soldiers could be something you’d see on a movie poster in a not-too-inventive showbiz satire — and from the inside, too. It’s an assemblage of ideas from other popular films that just hangs there with little cohesion.

‘Turning Red’ confronts the messiness of adolescence with refreshing honesty

Three years ago, the writer-director Domee Shi won an Oscar for her delightful Pixar animated short, Bao. In telling the sweet and surreal story of a Chinese Canadian mother and a steamed dumpling that comes to life, it captured something funny and poignant about the cultural and generational differences that can divide Asian immigrant families.

With her first feature, Turning Red,
