The Houston Texans introduced their new general manager amid rumblings of an unhappy franchise quarterback, and the fresh hire was direct in his response to questions about Deshaun Watson.

Nick Caserio made it very clear: Watson is going nowhere.

Hall of Fame Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda dies at 93

The Dodgers announced Friday that Lasorda suffered a sudden cardiopulmonary arrest at his home.

Pugnacious Hall of Fame manager Tommy Lasorda, who “bled Dodger blue” and skippered Los Angeles to four league pennants and two world titles, died Thursday night, the team announced.

He was 93.

Lasorda suffered a sudden cardiac arrest at his home and was transported to a hospital, where he died at 10:57 p.m. PST, the Dodgers said in a statement on Friday.

CLEVELAND — Francisco Lindor is moving to a new city and team that is willing to meet his salary demands.

The four-time All-Star shortstop — and one of baseball’s best all-around players — was traded Thursday by the Cleveland Indians along with pitcher Carlos Carrasco to the New York Mets, who have a new owner willing to spend at baseball’s highest levels.

A woman was shot and killed during a standoff inside the U.S. Capitol between law enforcement and supporters of President Donald Trump, who breached the building, forcing a lockdown with members of Congress inside.

The IRS Get My Payment tool went live early Monday afternoon but may have some delays initially due to high demand. The program was taken offline for several days before it could offer information about the second coronavirus stimulus check.
